Kelly Chase Couture style 26-647 is a Fall 2026 floor-length gown cut from matte black crepe, a dense, dry-finish fabric that holds a seam line and reads as depth rather than shine under evening light. The neckline is asymmetric: it covers one shoulder in a softly gathered drape and falls off the opposite shoulder, so the front line runs on a diagonal across the collarbone while both arms stay in long, narrow sleeves finished with a slim cuff at the wrist. Across the back the neckline runs straight below the shoulder blades and the bodice is fully closed over a concealed center-back zipper, with shaped seams through the waist and hip. Curving down from the covered shoulder, across the rib cage and over the hip, is a trailing vine of dimensional floral applique - layered petals edged in gold thread with beaded gold centers - which ends just above a front slit that opens at the thigh. Below the hip the skirt falls in a narrow straight column to a light floor sweep. Shown in Black, in sizes 0 through 28, it sits naturally in formal dresses with sleeves, mother of the bride and mother of the groom, wedding guest and guest of wear, and in gala and charity event, military ball, debutante, bar and bat mitzvah and grandmother of the bride occasions. Sizes 18 and up carry the designer's 20 percent size surcharge, and the extended range is shown alongside our other evening plus sizes and plus size gowns. Wear it with a low chignon or a deep side part so the bare shoulder stays the focal point, keep earrings small, skip a necklace entirely, and choose a strapless or one-shoulder bra plus a pointed pump in black satin. See the rest of the line in Kelly Chase Couture and in our best selling evening and cocktail gowns.
A gown built on a diagonal neckline only works when it is fitted in person. The drape has to sit level on the covered shoulder and stay there when you raise a glass, the off-shoulder edge has to clear your bra line without gapping, the sleeve has to be long enough to break at the wrist bone without binding at the elbow, the applique vine has to run true over your own rib cage and hip instead of twisting, and the slit has to be set to your stride and hemmed to the exact heel you will wear.
