In 2000, Kelly Chase Couture formed when Kelly’s lifelong dream of bringing beautiful designs to life merged with husband Chase’s talents for business. At the age of 5, Kelly began sewing with her mother and created her first tailored garment at age 13. At this early age of 13, with one hand on her hip and a lot of attitude, she told her father, “Someday, I’m going to become a fashion designer.” Father and daughter struck a deal: If she earned a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in apparel design (which she did), he would send her to the F.I.T. in New York City to study fashion design. She graduated F.I.T. Magna Cum Laude, and so the journey began. Kelly's husband Chase is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Kelly Chase Couture. It was in Houston where he first met Kelly; she was in the city working as a Bridal Designer. With the combination of Chase’s business skills and Kelly’s passion for design, Kelly Chase Couture was born. Since 2001, Kelly Chase Couture has introduced new collections for Bridal, Evening, Mother-of-the-Bride and Groom Dresses.
