Demetrios Evening A113 is a floor-length sleeveless sheath gown in fuchsia crepe, surfaced from the high neckline to the hem in tone-on-tone laser-cut 3D flowers. A sheath is cut straight from shoulder to hem with no waist seam and no gathers, so the line of the body is the line of the dress - which is why this gown reads long and quiet rather than built. The neckline is a high bateau front and back, the armholes are cut close and fully covered, and every petal is the same shade as the ground fabric, so there is no beading, no sequins and no sparkle anywhere - the texture does all the work. The back is high and closed over a concealed center zipper with a center-back walking slit at the hem so the narrow skirt moves.
