Demetrios Evening B104 is a floor-length stretch crepe trumpet gown cut off the shoulder. A folded portrait band wraps the shoulders into short fold-over sleeves and dips to a deep notched V at the center front, and that band is edged in tonal three-dimensional floral applique -- small fabric blossoms worked in the gown color itself, so the detail reads as texture and shadow rather than sparkle. Through the middle the bodice is princess-seamed and left completely clean, which is what gives B104 its long line; the applique picks up again at the hip and trails down the seams into the flared skirt on both the front and the back. The back is closed and high, finished with the same folded band across the shoulder blades and a concealed center-back zipper, and the skirt releases into a sweep train. There is no slit and no beading anywhere on the body. B104 is made in black, teal and wine in sizes 0 through 28, so the same silhouette runs straight through our evening plus sizes range rather than stopping at a 16.
