Demetrios Evening A117T is the tea length version of style A117, cut in structured navy mikado with no beading and no sparkle anywhere on it. A wide folded portrait band sits off the shoulder and wraps the upper arms like a built-in capelet, so the dress covers as much as a short sleeve while leaving the collarbone and shoulders bare, and a single hand-shaped mikado rosette is set where the band crosses at the shoulder. The bodice underneath is fitted and lightly boned to a defined natural waist, and the skirt breaks there into a full gathered A-line that holds its own shape and stops at mid-calf. The back is closed and high: the portrait band continues straight across, and a row of self-covered buttons runs down the center seam from the band to the hip over a concealed zipper.
