Choosing your dress

What measurements should I use for a size 16 dress?

There is no single size 16 measurement chart shared by every designer. Compare your bust, waist and hips with the chart for the exact dress. Numbered sizes and W sizes may have different proportions; contact Jan’s if you need help choosing.

Fit, availability and your event date

Check the size chart for the specific designer and compare your current measurements before ordering. Tell our team your event date so we can check the timing for your preferred style. Collection years and available sizes vary by product.

Can I try on every style shown online?

Contact Jan’s with the designer, style number, size and color before traveling. An online listing does not guarantee that the exact dress will be available for your appointment. Stock can change through online and in-store sales, and we cannot hold dresses before an appointment.

Jan’s offers on-site alterations for dresses purchased at Jan’s. A team member must schedule alteration fittings. Review our online sales policy before ordering.
