JAN'S STOCKS YOUR SIZE~ unlike many other department stores and boutiques in your area, Jan’s offers sizes 0 thru 26, exta-small thru 3X, regular, petite, large and plus sizes and women’s and women's petites sizes in stock. Plus Jan's can special order up to a size 36, 4X-5X and 6X from select manufacturers. JAN'S DOES NOT STOCK SAMPLES like many other boutiques and bridal stores do, JAN'S STOCKS ACTUAL INVENTORY YOU CAN PURCHASE OFF-THE-RACK that you can take home that day. At other stores you may be told to put your dress choices in front of you in a mirror because most stores don't carry your size or you may be asked to pick a dress from a catalog without trying it on. Sounds crazy?? but most stores don't have 4,000+ dresses in stock or they probably just stock sizes 4 thru 12 (leaving you asking who shops here?) Jan’s always stocks a wide selection for larger sizes (14 thru 26 and up to 3X) and smaller sizes (0 thru 12) versus the department stores, boutiques and bridal stores. 4. MADE IN THE USA~ believe it or not but there are still some manufacturers actually designing and manufacturing right here in the USA and Jan’s is proud to support those designers. Because these designers can turn-around a custom made garment in as little as 2 to 4 weeks or less versus the designers whom manufacturer overseas whose products can take up to 4 months to turnaround. Jan’s knows this and understands that sexy and sophisticated dresses are the “only” way to make our customers satisfied. The word matronly is not in Jan’s sales associates vocabulary, even for our fuller figured customers, you will find our dresses "sexy and sophisticated". So if you are in search of a dress that will make you look older than your mother then don't shop at Jan's.....the "bridal stores" will take care of that request.

9. JAN'S SPECIALIZES IN EVENINGWEAR~ Jan’s has specialized on eveningwear since 1974. We focus on the mother, the guest and the daughter better than a “bridal store”. Jan’s Boutique is not a “bridal store” nor do we have plans on becoming one. Bridal stores typically focus on the bride (for good reason because she is typically the one whom is going to spend thousands of dollars). The mother and guest are the ones whom are typically forgotten at these bridal stores because not all mothers want to spend thousands of dollars on a dress. Nor does the bridal store purchase dresses for the updated mother whom doesn’t want a “matronly dress”. Please note that Jan’s does offer a great selection of eveningwear for the 2nd-time/informal bride or destination bride (these dresses and gowns are not traditional). Traditional Brides and Brides-Maids will find stores catering their needs in a bridal store (not Jan’s).

10. NO INTEREST FINANCING...ONLY AT JAN'S~ unlike other boutiques and bridal stores, Jan’s understands that you may have a lot on your plate to handle and that is why we are the only woman’s boutique in the Delaware Valley to offer a “no-interest financing program”. Jan’s offers three programs of financing. The first program offers our customers to finance any purchase over $499, interest free with minimum payments of 3% of the total purchase for 90 days with approved credit. The second program offers our customers 6 months no interest with purchase of $1499 or more with minimum payments of 3% of your total purchase per month with approved credit. Jan’s third program offers our customers 12 months no interest with purchase of $2499 or more with minimum payments of 3% of your total purchase per month with approved credit. 11. JAN'S ACCOMODATES YOUR GUESTS~ of course it is our female customers we’re here to please, but we didn’t forget about your guy, your friend or family members. Jan’s offers free WI-FI internet access (so tell him to bring his laptop), we also have a large screen plasma TV so he or she will not miss that all-important sporting event or just catch up with the news. And if he or she just wants to relax then Jan's has comfortable chairs and couches with all the magazines and newspapers to make their stay a bit more relaxing.

13. SERVICE BEFORE AND AFTER THE SALE~ by now you probably understand that good quality service means a lot to us but it means just as much after the sale. If your dress needs some fine tuning because some beads may have fallen off (which trust us it does happen) we’re there for you. If you feel your dress needs to be steamed prior to your affair then we’re there for you. If you just want to shorten the gown you purchased into a short cocktail dress then we’re there for you. 14. TRUNKSHOWS~ no store offers the variety of trunkshows per year than Jan’s Boutique. At Jan’s you have the ability to preview over 50 different designer trunkshows per year. These trunkshows enable you to see the manufacturers collections for that season. This allows you to see all the available styles enabling you to make a more informed decision of what will look best on you. Even if we don’t have exactly what your looking for in stock it is quite possible that we can get that style your looking for at one of our trunkshows (which we often do). 16. NO STORAGE FEES~ unlike most boutiques and bridal stores, Jan's does not charge you to store your dress until you get your alterations completed. Many other stores charge for you to leave your dress at the store.

17. SPECIAL ORDER GUARANTEE~ need to special order your dress in a different color or size?, then precise measurements must be taken to guarantee the perfect fit. If you take measurements on your own or have an non-qualified person take them for you, you will special order the wrong size. Jan's certified fitters guarantee the right size will be ordered or we will order you a different size, free of charge. Please note 95% of most dresses ordered do need some sort of alterations to fit your body perfectly.

18. ALTERATIONS DONE RIGHT~ only Jan's Boutique offers "certified" seamstresses whom can guarantee your dress will be altered professionally and on-time! Jan's group of seamstresses have over 100 years of experience. If...and "if" is word that has never occurred at Jan's, but, "if" one of our seamstresses were to butcher your dress then Jan's would get you a new one free of charge. Your new dress investment deserves a "certified" seamstress. If you purchase your dress from an online retailer you will not have a store to stand behind the alterations....."god forbid something goes wrong"! Please note our select group of seamstresses can only alter merchandise purchased from Jan's Boutique.
