Don't buy a dress from another
store without asking these 12 very important questions!
Ask your local store, boutique or bridal store these questions prior to
giving them your money. Saving a few bucks in the short term may not pay
off in the long term! If anyone you are considering doing business
with can't say "yes" to all these questions listed below, then don't do
business with them. Remember one important thing, online retailers as well
as brick and mortar stores have not been in business as long as Jan's
Boutique. Our 35 year commitment to excellent customer service will
ultimately keep us around for another 35 years because we take care of our
customers before and after the sale. If you are not purchasing your
garment from Jan's then be sure to print these 12 questions out and ask the store you plan on shopping with these questions prior to
giving them your money.
1. Will you the store re-order my garment if it was not ordered it in the
correct size?....only Jan's has certified fitters guaranteeing you they will not order the wrong size, but if they happen to do so then Jan's will re-order the correct size.
2. Will you the store refund my money if the garment arrives in the wrong size
and there isn't enough time to order another one?....only Jan's has certified fitters guaranteeing you the wrong size will not be ordered.
3. If the garment I am special ordering is projected to arrive later
than its original delivery date, will you the store notify me as soon as you know?....Jan's diligently follows-up with their designers on a regular basis making sure this doesn't occur.
4. Can you the store guarantee that my dress will be altered professionally by your seamstress or tailor?....only Jan's works with the best seamstresses in the Delaware Valley guaranteeing you that only a certified professional seamstress will touch your dress. Buyer beware of seamstress you do not know and never, ever get your dress altered at a dry cleaners (no matter how good of a dry cleaner they are).
5. If my garment is butchered by the stores seamstress will you the store stand
behind my purchase and order a new, identical dress?...free of charge?....only Jan's works only with the best seamstress guaranteeing your dress will not get butchered. Our seamstresses work on dresses that retail as high as $5000, Jan's can't afford not to have the best seamstresses work on your dress.
6. Will you the store fix any loose beads, stones or any other embellishments
which may come off or are not intact before I take my dress home?
.....free of charge?....Jan's fixes these such issues ALL the time.
7. Will you the store waive your storage fees if I wish to leave my dress
at your establishment?....Jan's is NOT like your typical bridal store, we DO NOT charge storage fees!
8. Do you the store have an insurance policy that would cover my dress if it was left in your store and the store had a freak of nature occur such as a flood or fire?....Jan's Boutique has enough insurance that would cover all our customers dresses and then some.
9. If my new garment is accidentally scratched by my ring or nail and it
leaves a noticeable pull in the fabric will you the store take the time
to fix my dress?....Jan's offers an in-house seamstress whom has fixed these type of problems and made miracles come true for many of it's customers.
10. Will you the store fix any loose beads, stones or any other
embellishments which may come off after I wore my garment?....Jan's does it all the time.
11. Will you the store steam out any wrinkles in my gown prior to my affair?....free of charge?....Jan's does it all the time.
12. You can easily do a web search on any store you plan on visiting; in that search you will find consumer sites specifically set up to give you honest opinions (reviews) of the store you plan on shopping with. Some of these sites include, www.citysearch.com, www.insiderpages.com, www.yelp.com, www.merchantcircle.com, www.kudzko.com, www.phillymag.com, www.yahoolocal.com, etc, etc, etc. Our customers tell us time and time again of their misfortunes of shopping with these other stores. These misfortunes are sometimes having a non-experienced person measure you to order your dress or not following up with you if a delivery date has been changed or simply not placing the order with the manufacturer. The list of horror stories we hear go on and on. But don't believe us believe the people who have actually reviewed these other stores at these consumer sites we have listed above.
